Pilates is a form of exercise which aims to strengthen the whole body, with particular emphasis on core strength and control, thus aiming to improve general fitness and wellbeing. It was initially developed by German born Joseph Pilates, who believed that mental and physical health were closely connected. Pilates has something to offer for people of all ages, levels of ability and fitness, from beginners to elite athletes.
Having completed further Pilates training with the Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute, Bridget is able to provide Pilates on a one to one basis and also runs classes locally to Corsham. Classes are run as a 4 or 6 week course and can be developed specifically for groups such as riders, people with low back pain, or beginners. Before starting a course for the first time, Bridget will arrange an individual session with you so that she can ensure that you have grasped the basics correctly before entering a class setting.
